DNV has acquired 74.3% of KEMA’s shares, creating a world-leading energy and sustainability company 

 De Brauw advised KEMA on DNV's acquisition of 74,3% of KEMA's shares, creating a world-leading consulting and certification company within the cleaner energy, sustainability, power generation, transmission and distribution sectors.

KEMA is a leading global provider of services covering the entire energy value chain, specializing in business and technical consultancy, operational support, measurements and inspection, and testing and certification. DNV, a Norwegian multinational with a strong reputation in the maritime and offshore industry, will acquire 74.3% of the KEMA share capital. Alliander and Cogas will retain the 25.7 % interest

De Brauw acted as lead counsel to the selling shareholders and the management board and supervisory board of KEMA​.
