De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek appoints four new partners 

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V. has appointed four new partners. These appointments reflect the growth in the (international) Merger & Acquisitions and Litigation & Arbitration practices of De Brauw.

Bregje Korthals Altes is an arbitration specialist, focusing on the energy and technology sectors. She also frequently advises clients on European procurement issues. 

Anja Mutsaers specialises in mergers and acquisitions. Her expertise ranges from public bids to joint ventures and strategic deals. In recent months she has acted as lead counsel in a number of international mergers and divestments.

Klaas de Vries's practice is in mergers and acquisitions, including distressed transactions. He also advises on other matters in the area of insolvency law.

Edward van Geuns specialises in international arbitration and commercial litigation and has specific expertise in bilateral investment treaties. He frequently acts for clients in Supreme Court litigation.
