 International Class Action Settlements in the Netherlands After the Morrison and Ahold Decisions 

Since the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Morrison v. National Australian Bank, the international relevance of Dutch law on class action settlements has increased. Now that “foreign cubed class actions” have been made impossible in the United States , the Netherlands may be the place to certify a class action settlement involving non-US investors in non-US securities listed on a non-US stock exchange.
