Reinout Vriesendorp is partner-professor at De Brauw and has been professor of civil and commercial law at Tilburg University in the Netherlands since 1992. He was with De Brauw from 1985 to 1992 in its offices in The Hague and New York. Vriesendorp is one of the most influential thinkers in the area of insolvency law and security rights. He will primarily focus on the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency practice, and continue as professor part-time at Tilburg University.

Reinout Vriesendorp is apart from his position at Tilburg University and De Brauw member of the editorial board of the Dutch Insolvency Law Review (Tijdschrift voor Insolventierecht) and member of the editorial board of International Insolvency Review.
