Edward van Geuns specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. Edward advises and litigates on behalf of national and international companies in all types of litigation and before all courts of the Netherlands, including the Supreme Court. He has also handled arbitrations under ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, DIS and NAI rules. He often deals with post-acquisition disputes, pension disputes and investment arbitrations. Edward has particular experience in the energy sector, the transport sector and the construction sector.

In 2009/2010, Edward was seconded to the International Arbitration department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York, focusing on Investor-State arbitrations. Edward is an editor of a standard work on Dutch procedural law and regularly publishes articles on a variety of issues.
