His regulatory practice ranges from buy-back programs to cross-border clearing and settlement, and from block trades to insider trading issues.

Recent projects include advising the underwriters in the IPO of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V., advising NYSE Euronext on the innovative fast path listing process, and a host of household-name multinationals on their share buy-back programs.

His professional career has caused him to spend time as a resident lawyer in New York, Brussels and London. Currently, Jan Willem works in the De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek Amsterdam office. Jan Willem regularly lectures on Dutch securities law subjects - to audiences at home and abroad.
