Judica represents prominent national and international ICT and technology companies and publishers. She has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of national and international outsourcing agreements, technology and content contracts in transactions, and in complex content licensing structures. Her experience in contentious matters includes assistance in and out of court in respect of failed ICT projects, failed outsourcings, retransition disputes and content exploitation disputes. Judica is known for her pragmatic and hands-on approach and is experienced in working with, and heading, large teams.
Recent work includes assisting in:
- a landmark international BPO outsourcing for a multinational technology company
- large national BPO outsourcings of payroll and HR services
- real estate services and financial banking services
- the negotiation and drafting of IP and IT documentation in major divestments of a multinational chips company.
Judica is a member of the board of the Dutch association of ICT lawyers (VIRA). She writes the commentary to the Dutch Database Act in the Dutch IP law commentary "Intellectuele Eigendom" (Elsevier), contributed to "Concise European Copyright Law" (Kluwer Law International), has been an editor for the Dutch journal for copyright, media and information law AMI and news correspondent for EIPR. She has also worked with the Institute for Information Law (IVIR) of the University of Amsterdam.
