Anja Mutsaers specialises in corporate law, contract law and mergers and acquisitions. Her expertise ranges from public bids to private equity and strategic deals.

Anja has extensive experience in national and international acquisitions and divestments in various industry sectors, including energy, banking, real estate and electronics. Her work includes drafting and negotiating transaction documentation as well as other contracts, such as management, service, supply and distribution agreements. Anja regularly works closely with our Finance and Anti Trust teams during transactions.

Anja was in-house counsel and retail manager at ExxonMobil for a number of years. She has completed, with honours, a post-graduate course for company lawyers and two post-graduate Grotius Academy courses. Anja publishes and lectures regularly in her areas of expertise.

• ABN AMRO on various international divestments, including the recent sale of its Prime Fund Solutions Business to Credit Suisse
• TenneT TSO on its EUR 776 million acquisition of high voltage grids from Nuon, Essent and Delta
• Various industry parties on commercial contracts, including CO2, manufacturing and supply agreements
