Mark Rebergen specialises in real estate law. His practice includes real estate transactions (mostly regarding portfolio, substantial objects or of a complex nature), tenders, project development, real estate finance, sale and lease back structures and advice on many other real estate related topics. He has particular expertise in tenders/controlled auctions and complex property law issues (e.g. infrastructure issues).
Mark often works in close cooperation with De Brauw’s Finance and M&A practices, creating a full range of services for all real estate related projects for national and international key players. Mark advises a large number of (institutional) investors (national and international), Dutch multinationals and other large companies, developers, banks and municipalities.
Recent work includes advising:
- a large Dutch multinational on the divestment of a number of large former industrial locations throughout the Netherlands
- the manager of the national high voltage electricity grid on the ownership acquisition and expansion of the grid
- many Dutch pension funds on the sale of real estate portfolios
- a Dutch bank on specific sale and lease back structures
- foreign institutional investors on the acquisition and sale of Dutch real estate.
