Anthonie Schutte focuses on public and private M&A deals and private equity transactions.

From 2007 to 2011 Anthonie was the resident partner in De Brauw's New York office. He returned to the Amsterdam office in August 2011.

Recent work includes:

• Advising Univar (a CVC-portfolio company) on its acquisition of Quaron.
• Acting for GMR Infrastructure in its USD 1,2 billion divestment of its 50%-shareholding in InterGen N.V. to China Huaneng Group.
• Acting for Lindsay Goldberg in acquiring a 49% interest in Ofjell's tank terminals in Rotterdam and Houston as well as in a greenfield project in Charleston.

Anthonie is an active member of the International Section of the American Bar Association, the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and of the International Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands.
