Liesbeth Zwart-Sneek has merged her previous corporate practice in mergers and acquisitions with her specialisation in employment- and pension-related issues. She has broad experience in both litigation and transaction work and regularly advises both national and international clients on issues related to transfer of employees, redundancies, works councils consultation procedures, non-discrimination issues, bonus and shares schemes and amendments of employment conditions. As Certified Pension Lawyer (CPL) she also assists clients in negotiating pension agreements with insurers and employees, amending company pension schemes and drafting pension contracts.
Recent work includes advising and assisting:
- the employee consultation process related to the sale of a major Dutch brewery to a large foreign brewery
- the employment and employee consultation process related issues following the integration of two big bakeries for an Italian client
- one of the world’s leading auditing firms on entering into new pension agreements with a large insurance company and the liquidation of that firm’s own pension fund
- employment and termination agreements for board members of large (international) corporations.
Liesbeth is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the Dutch Pension Lawyers Association and the Association for Corporate Litigation.
