Okke Suurenbroek specialises in corporate and tax law and, in particular, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity structuring, corporate restructurings and investment funds. Since joining De Brauw in 2004, Okke has advised numerous multinationals and private equity clients on their domestic and international restructurings, strategic or financial acquisitions and distressed debt transactions.

In 2009, Okke was seconded to Schulte Roth & Zabel’s New York office where he worked on a global Chapter 11 reorganisation in the automotive industry and the international tax strategies of several private equity funds. Okke is a member of the Dutch Bar Association, the Dutch Tax Lawyer's Association and the Dutch Association for Tax Science.
