Robbert Tan specialises in corporate, commercial and Supreme Court litigation. He acts on behalf of Dutch and international financial institutions and corporate clients. Before joining the litigation department, Robbert worked in De Brauw's M&A team and in its London office, during which time he advised financial institutions, energy companies and corporates on mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. He was actively involved in the formulation of De Brauw's advice to the Dutch State on the credit crunch measures that took place in 2008.

Robbert regularly publishes on tort and contract law, and is law clerk to the Amsterdam bar Disciplinary Council. He is a member of the Amsterdam bar.
