Constantijn Voogt specialises in corporate law, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience advising Dutch public and private companies and foreign corporations on general corporate matters including corporate restructurings, joint ventures, public offerings, public bids and defence against hostile takeovers.
Recent work includes advising:
- Océ on the EUR 730 million public offer by Canon.
- TenneT on its EUR 1.1 billion acquisition of E.ON’s electricity transmission grid.
- Qiagen on its USD 640 million global offering of shares.
- Anheuser-Busch Inbev on the USD 1.8 billion divestment of Oriental Brewery to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR).
- Smit Internationale on the EUR 1.4 billion intended hostile takeover by Royal Boskalis Westminster and SHV Holdings.
- Dutch telecom provider KPN on its fiber to the home joint venture with Reggefiber
Sanofi-Aventis on its universal cash offer for Zentiva.
From 2005 to 2007 Constantijn worked at De Brauw’s London office, where he advised large international companies and financial institutions on cross-border corporate and finance transactions.
