Alex van der Wolk specialises in ICT law, and in particular, (software) licensing and telecommunications law. He has a particular interest in open source software licensing. He has been involved in the negotiation of large international IT and outsourcing contracts, and frequently advises on various national and cross-border privacy issues.

Alex has also assisted large telecommunication providers in the resolution of regulatory issues with the Dutch telecommunications authority OPTA, and regularly appears before all Dutch courts. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on the topic of open source software licensing.
