Our Private Equity practice advises private equity investors ranging from niche funds to major European or global venture capitalists, managements, and senior debt and mezzanine providers. We render advice on venture capital investments, complex leveraged buyouts, public-to-private transactions and large multi-jurisdictional transactions. We act in tandem with our acquisition finance practice, ensuring an integrated depth of know-how and corporate service to our clients. Our cross-practice also combines the private equity experience and know-how of our M&A, corporate, tax, finance, investment management, regulatory and competition lawyers. We advise both on private equity transactions and on the formation of funds.
Venture capital and private equity transactions continue to form a key part of our transaction practice. These transactions vary widely, ranging from straight-forward direct participations to leveraged, cross-border MBOs and exit transactions to the formation of domestic or overseas private equity funds. This broad experience, including public-to-private transactions and knowledge of new financing techniques, combined with the expertise of our London and New York teams, means we can deliver appreciable added value to clients in this field.
