Real Estate

Peers point to the group's strength in procurement matters, while clients value its guidance in the area of administrative and environmental law, saying they "can completely rely on its advice." Chambers Europe 2010

De Brauw's Real Estate practice advises a large number of Dutch and international (institutional) investors, large (multinational) companies, developers, construction companies, banks, housing associations, (semi-) governmental institutions and municipalities. De Brauw is recommended for its creativity and knowledge in innovative legal solutions, as has been demonstrated in its pioneering in tender processes and a more pragmatic approach to urban developments.

We advise clients on property acquisitions and their related sale, project development, urban developments, property portfolio reorganisations, commercial real estate transactions and contracts, and lease transactions. We also advise on tenders, property investment and management, infrastructure projects, formation of real estate funds, financing and securitisation of real estate, construction issues and real estate related litigation. As projects often require a multidisciplinary approach, we frequently work in collaboration with other De Brauw practices in order to provide the most comprehensive advice to our clients.
