De Brauw’s CSR policy focuses on education. We select projects with the help of a CSR committee, placing high value on projects in which colleagues can actively participate. Education was chosen because this theme:

• forms the basis for social betterment and progress;
• was an integral issue of most of the initiatives and projects submitted;
• is complementary to the firm’s philosophy to provide for ongoing education and support individual development;
• offers the ability to many individuals within  the firm to become directly involved;
• enables the realisation of projects both close to home and far away.
