IPO - New World Resources
De Brauw acted as Dutch legal adviser to New World Resources N.V. on its initial public offering on the London, Prague and Warsaw Stock Exchanges.

Fortis, Banco Santander and The Royal Bank of Scotland - takeover of ABN AMRO
De Brauw, jointly with Linklaters, acts as lead legal adviser to the Consortium on its EUR 71 billion succesful takeover of ABN AMRO. De Brauw is also principal legal adviser to the Dutch-Belgian bank Fortis and the Spanish bank Banco Santander.
