De Brauw advises Vodafone on USD 130 billion divestment of Verizon Wireless

De Brauw acts as Dutch counsel to Vodafone in the USD130 billion acquisition of the 45% stake in Verizon Wireless owned by British cellphone carrier Vodafone.

De Brauw acts as Dutch corporate and tax counsel to Vodafone, Slaughter and May and Simpson Thatcher act as British and US counsel to Vodafone.

Lead partner Paul Sleurink: 'Together with 'best friend' Slaughter and May we have worked hard on a very successful transaction for our client Vodafone, which stands out because of not only the deal value but also the deal's complexity.'
