Our Employment & Employee Benefits practice covers employment law in the widest sense of the word. The practice provides support to the Corporate / M & A practice in national and international transactions by advising on social and employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and outsourcings, We also advise and represent companies in respect of dismissals, collective dismissals, reorganisations, downsizings, national and European co-determination (Works Councils Act and European Works Council Act), Collective Labour Agreements (CAOs), flexible and temporary employment relationships, pensions law, equal treatment and industrial actions (strikes).
The size and depth of the practice and the nature of the client base ensure that our lawyers are fully abreast of current developments and are totally conversant with current market practices. We advocate a practical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving once all legal aspects have been fully established, and appear before all courts. Our lawyers also represent clients in Netherlands Supreme Court appeals on employment law issues.
