Our Real Estate Practice Group is involved in all major real estate transactions and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and is known for its creativity and knowledge of innovative legal solutions, as has been demonstrated by its pioneering role in structured sales procedures, infrastructure projects based on an innovative concept of public participation and decision-making on the one hand, and strategic management of the environment on the other, fund structuring .
Our focus and our practice group’s expertise are broad, specialising in real estate transactions, property portfolio reorganisations, (re)developments, tenders/structured sales procedures, lease transactions, construction, infrastructure projects, public procurement, planning and environment, (project) finance/securities and restructuring. Furthermore, we advise and litigate on amongst others: environmental law issues, regulatory issues, state aid, (lease) contracts, privatisations and public-private partnerships, such as highways and other large-scale construction projects and other real estate related matters. Our Real Estate group is one of the leaders in this segment of the market.
Our client base include a large number of Dutch and international (institutional) investors, large (multinational) companies, real estate developers, construction companies, banks, pension funds, housing associations and leading Dutch principals.
Through our international (“best friends”) network we provide clients with top quality with legal advice and services in all relevant jurisdictions. As lead counsel we engage local counsel as and when needed, and act as project coordinator for our clients in international transactions.
