Grit & Passion. Opportunity & De Brauw. Do you want to be stretched and nurtured?
Are you student who is excited by your own potential and that in any opportunity? Do you relish a challenge?
If so, then we may be a perfect match. There are many different ways that you can meet and explore our firm, to include participating in one of our business courses, becoming a student trainee or working with us as a law assistant.
Are you an ambitious student in the last year of a bachelor’s programme, or studying for your Masters? Then apply for a full-time, two-month traineeship in one of our Corporate, Regulatory or Litigation practice groups, and have a taste of life and work at De Brauw, first-hand.
If you meet our standard requirements, we will invite you to complete an online assessment, after which we may invite you for an interview with one of our recruiters and a senior associate.
All of our student trainees receive a monthly allowance and we will also reimburse your travel expenses.
Are you looking for a part-time role where you can 'earn while you learn'? Then perhaps you wish to explore the possibility of working as a law assistant in one of our Corporate, Regulatory or Litigation practice groups.
If you meet our standard requirements, we will invite you to complete an online assessment, after which we may invite you for an interview with one of our recruiters and a senior associate. (Do take the time to practice before you take the assessment: even perfection can be practiced).
If successful, you will receive an employment contract for 15 hours per week, for a period of atleast six months. (Although it is true that many of our law assistants have previously completed a student internship with us, this is not a requirement).
Are you a driven and curious student (of law, tax or notarial law) who is in your final year of your Bachelor or Masters Degree? Are you curious about working on a pro bono case at De Brauw, determined to make a social contribution as a future lawyer? Then apply to join one of our unique business courses. A group of senior associates and recruiters will enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to be part of De Brauw, working together as a team on a high-end matter, during a week full of many fun and social activities.
Our Business Course 2021 was run in partnership with our pro bono client - the Invictus Games The Hague 2020 - an international sports event for physically and/or mentally injured soldiers. Participants worked in teams on the same legal issues that are involved in the organisation of such a large and special sports event, and took part in inspiring workshops led and hosted by the Invictus Games' athletes and our lawyers.
