About this office

We have been in China since 2010, supporting our clients in the region. From our Shanghai office, we advise multinationals on general corporate and litigation matters, with a particular focus on compliance matters in China and other countries throughout Asia.

Resident partner Roan Lamp is on the ground with his knowledge of the local market and business conduct. Our experienced Chinese associates, based in Amsterdam and Shanghai, have proven to be invaluable in dealings between our clients and their Chinese counterparts.

We also advise Asian companies conducting business in the Netherlands or with a desire to do so. From our Shanghai office, we can work efficiently in the same time zone and in Mandarin where required. In addition, we are able to offer a European platform due to our close working relationships with the China offices of Slaughter and May (UK), Hengeler Mueller (Germany) and Uría Menendez (Spain, Portugal and Latin America).

Our Shanghai office works closely with our Singapore office offering corporate, finance, international arbitration and compliance expertise in Asia. With our presence in the main international hubs in the world, we can offer around the clock assistance.
