The Invictus Games

The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for serving and veteran, wounded, injured and sick, service-personnel. The Games harness the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country. The word ‘Invictus’ means ‘unconquered’ and embodies the fighting spirit personified in what these tenacious men and women can achieve, post injury. The Invictus Games is about much more than just sport – it captures hearts, challenges minds and changes lives.

Our collaboration with the Invictus Games started shortly after the initiators (Mart de Kruif, Conny Wenting and Pim Versteeg) succeeded to bring this inspiring and international event to the Netherlands. The Invictus Games 2020 will be held in The Hague from 9-16 May, and invites 500 competitors, from 19 different countries, to participate in nine different sports.
