Master Class – Managing international government investigations and discovery proceedings

The legal landscape for international government investigations and discovery proceedings is continuously evolving. Often, legal requirements imposed by foreign authorities and courts of law are diametrically opposed to EU legal requirements –  leading to a ‘Catch 22’ that is an increasing challenge to resolve.

In this Master Class,  Richard van Staden ten Brink and Axel Arnbak will provide practical insights regarding how to navigate EU GDPR requirements, blocking statutes, legal privilege and bank secrecy in foreign litigation and investigation. The Master Class will specifically look at how to manage the flow of company data across the Atlantic, illustrated by recent real-life dilemmas.

Date, time and location
This Master Class will be held at our offices in Amsterdam on Friday, 1 June from 8:00 to 10:00. Of course a delicious breakfast will be awaiting you when you arrive. Please note that our Master Classes are based on invitation only.
