Master Class – 2021 Tax Update

The Rock banner 02

During this Master Class, Maarten van der Weijden, Paul Sleurink and Peter Spijker will first discuss a recent bill that will render "informal capital structures" obsolete from a Dutch tax perspective – by only allowing downward transfer pricing adjustments if the other party in the transaction records a corresponding pick-up for tax purposes. But the new law would apply much more widely, beyond informal capital structures, and it lacks clarity on this and other related points.

Maarten, Paul and Peter will also update you on recent developments regarding the deductibility of interest. As a result of a number of recent Supreme Court decisions, the situation has changed, and there is more to come.

This Webinar Master Class will be held on Thursday, 25 November from 08:30 to 10:00.

Maarten van der Weijden specialises in domestic and cross-border corporate tax matters with a particular focus on structuring and restructuring business transactions.
Paul is a noted specialist in Dutch and international tax law. His practice is strongly transaction driven, with a mixture of M&A, corporate restructuring and finance transactions.
