The Temporary decree Advisory Centre for Whistleblowers has been extended to 1 July 2016 pending the entry into force of the House for Whistleblowers Bill. The Advisory Centre for Whistleblowers advises and supports people who suspect malpractice in or around the workplace. The Temporary decree will automatically expire if the House for Whistleblowers Bill enters into effect earlier.

The initiative proposal House for Whistleblowers Bill passed the Second Chamber of parliament in 2013. In 2014, the First Chamber started its plenary debate on the bill, but suspended this to allow for an amendment of the bill which has been passed in the Second Chamber. Prior to the resumption of the plenary debate in the First Chamber, a preliminary investigation will take place on 29 September.
