De Brauw acted as legal counsel to Bouwinvest, on behalf of Bouwinvest Dutch Institutional Residential Fund N.V., on the divestment of 20 portfolios of residential properties to several private and institutional investors. The portfolio includes 900 accommodations (single-family dwellings as well as apartments), in the Netherlands.

The transaction represents a value of EUR 110 million.

The transaction fits within the Residential Fund’s strategy to conduct a careful and active portfolio policy (acquisition and disposition), with the aim of an ongoing revitalisation and optimisation of this fund. This optimisation implies a further improvement of the risk and efficiency ratio.
