Boels Rental announces public offer for Cramo

De Brauw has advised Boels Rental, one of Europe’s leading equipment rental companies, on its public offer for Finnish rental business Cramo, which has a strong footprint in Scandinavia and North-eastern Europe.


The combination of Boels and Cramo will create a leading player in the European equipment rental market with combined annual revenues of approximately EUR 1,250 million and one of the largest depot networks in Europe (more than 750 depots). The offer values Cramo’s equity at approximately EUR 592 million and is expected to be launched in November 2019. De Brauw also advised Boels on securing debt facilities to finance the acquisition of Cramo and refinance all of Boels’ and Cramo’s outstanding debt.
