Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (“CB&I”) entered into a business combination agreement with McDermott International, Inc. (“McDermott”) under which they will combine in an all-stock transaction. The estimated enterprise value of the transaction is USD 6 billion.
The merger creates a premier, vertically integrated company with a broad integrated engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and installation service offering with significant scale, diversification and global presence. The combined group has revenue of approximately USD 10 billion and approximately 38,000 employees worldwide.
