De Brauw advises Temasek on its pre-IPO cornerstone investment in NN Group

ING Group has secured important investments into NN Group totalling EUR 1.275 billion ahead of the intended Initial Public Offering (IPO) of NN Group, the Dutch life insurance company, which also has a presence in Central, Eastern and the rest of Europe, as well as operations in Japan.

In this context, ING Group has agreed to sell NN Group shares at the IPO to three Asia-based investment firms, including Temasek, and also to issue to them subordinated notes that ING Group will over time exchange into NN Group shares.


De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, through its Singapore and Amsterdam offices, acted as lead counsel to Temasek.
