Bertrand ter Woort specialises in litigation, specifically in relation to intellectual property. He has extensive experience in the field of worldwide trademark and patent law disputes, including the life sciences.
Before joining the Litigation group, Bertrand was with the Corporate group, where he advised on numerous cross-border transactions. This background now contributes significantly in the area of M&A-related transfer and licensing of intellectual property rights.
Bertrand has recently published an article in the Bio-Science Law Review entitled “Skinny Labelling and Indirect Infringement – Consider Being Proactive: Novartis v Sun”.
