Malte specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration. He has particular expertise in contract and tort disputes, restructuring and insolvency-related matters, preliminary relief proceedings and the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. Malte's practice covers a wide range of complex and high stakes matters for financial institutions and corporate clients. His recent work includes representing and advising: a Dutch bank in a EUR 150 million dispute regarding the termination of a banking relationship; a South-American telecommunication company in a cross-border restructuring; and a gas export company in an UNCITRAL arbitration regarding the price review mechanism in a long-term gas supply contract.
