Simon has an extensive experience in litigation and arbitration with a focus on commercial litigation. Acting on behalf national and international companies, he has broad national and international experience in all types of litigation (at all levels of the judiciary in the Netherlands), arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution in large commercial matters (for example, his recent work includes a $500 million commercial dispute between partners of a consortium involved in the exploration of an off shore oil field, with litigation and arbitration in various jurisdictions at the same time). Simon has worked on numerous important matters and has a lot of experience in various areas of expertise, such as mass claims and class actions, general liability law, proceedings regarding contractual underperformance, alleged cross-border unlawful acts, contracting, and franchising.

Simon is every inch a litigator and has a lot of experience in summary proceedings, oral hearing and appearing in court in the broadest sense.
