We are looking for a student trainee with a keen interest in our dynamic Regulatory Enforcement practice.
Our Regulatory Enforcement practice is active across the entire spectrum of international, EU and Dutch regulatory law. We advise and represent major companies and financial institutions in a wide range of cross-border matters, and provide strategic advice to our multinational clients globally in litigation, transactions and enforcement actions.
We have outstanding expertise in the areas of Energy & Environmental Law, Competition Law, Financial Criminal Law (including Dutch and international anti-corruption and anti-money laundering regulations), Data & Privacy Law, and Internal Investigations, Economic Sanctions and Export Controls.
About the role
As student trainee, you will work in all of our Regulatory Enforcement practice areas: Competition, Corporate Crime & Investigations, Data & Privacy Security and Energy & the Environment. You will actively support lawyers in ongoing matters, such as internal investigations, merger filings, administrative law proceedings and privacy issues. During your traineeship, you will share a room with one of our lawyers, accompany them to court hearings and client meetings, and be fully immersed in our educational and social programmes.
Our ideal candidate is:
- a third-year Bachelor or Masters student, with a strong academic record;
- eager and excited to learn;
- available for a full-time traineeship for a duration of two months;
- meticulous and well-organised;
- proactive; and
- has excellent Dutch and English language skills.
