Carbon Finance Deal of the Year 

The Luz Verde transaction has won the title "Carbon Finance Deal of the Year", awarded by Carbon Finance. De Brauw acted as lead counsel to financing bank ING in structuring the Luz Verde deal. This was the first-ever "programmatic" Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, consisting of the distribution of energy-saving light bulbs to households in Mexico, ahead of the UN climate conference last December.
