FT Recognition for Innovative Climate Change Work 

De Brauw's carbon practice was included twice in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers 2010 Report.

The Green Investment Scheme (GIS) Model developed by De Brauw was ranked as a "Stand-Out" in the category "Climate Change and Sustainability". The GIS project was launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as part of its Sustainable Energy Initiative. In the same category, the Luz Verde programme was ranked by the FT as "Highly Commended". In the transaction, De Brauw assisted ING Bank in structuring its project finance and security package for the first-ever Programme of Activities under the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol. The programme also won the Carbon Finance Deal of the Year award recently. More information on this award can be found here.
