Jiajia Gao is a senior associate at De Brauw’s office in Amsterdam. She assists Chinese investors on all legal aspects of their European investments. Jiajia is also specialised in antitrust law. She has handled many merger filings and also advised multi-international companies on compliance issues both under the Antimonopoly Law of China and EU competition rules.
After graduation from the Peking University and receiving her LL.M. (with distinction.) in EU Law from Leiden University, Jiajia was the first Chinese who was offered a training contract by the Legal Service department of the EU Commission.
Jiajia has over six years of experience in the legal practice, and formerly worked in Europe and China for renowned international law firms.
