De Brauw appoints one counsel and two partners

Lennard Keijzer
De Brauw has appointed Janneke van der Kroon as counsel and Ferdinand Hengst and Lennard Keijzer as partner.
Janneke advises and litigates on the full spectrum of employment-related matters. In particular, she assists clients in works council consultation procedures in relation to acquisitions, divestments and reorganisations and in collective and individual dismissals. Janneke recently advised on employment aspects of the USD 47 billion acquisition of NXP by Qualcomm. Ferdinand is an expert in corporate financing, in particular advising large corporates on international bank lending transactions and complex debt restructurings. With a solid background in M&A, Ferdinand also regularly advises on wider corporate matters. He recently acted as advisor to Rabobank and DLL in their sale of Athlon Car Lease to Daimler for EUR 1.1 billion. Lennard specialises in corporate law, in particular in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. He played an important role in building De Brauw’s Singapore office. After being in Singapore for over two years, Lennard returned to De Brauw Amsterdam in late 2014. He advises private equity firms and De Brauw's corporate clients. Geert Potjewijd, managing partner at De Brauw: "We are very happy and proud to have appointed Janneke, Ferdinand and Lennard - once again all home-grown. They have developed into lawyers who are enthusiastically committed to working on our clients' matters all over the world".
