Proposed directive on actions for damages for competition law infringements
The competition law journal Mededingingsrecht in de Praktijk this month contains an article by Erik-Jan Zippro on a proposed EU directive on actions for damages for competition law infringements.
The proposed directive is evidence of the European Commission's mission to promote private law enforcement of competition rules. If the proposal is adopted early 2014, as expected, the Netherlands will have two years to implement the directive into Dutch law.
