About this office
Our clients are increasingly operating in South-East Asia. And we, of course, want to be there with them, to keep pace with their strategy and needs.
Over the past few years we have handled a growing number of matters in Asia. More and more clients are looking for legal assistance in the region, specifically in international arbitration, mergers, takeovers, joint ventures and regulatory work.
Working with lawyers that know their business, organisation and risk appetite means our clients are assured of a similar approach in their legal matters, no matter where in the world. This also significantly contributes to control over legal spend, since for one thing far less time is needed to explain what is important. And our approach assures efficiency and value creation.
What is our approach?
Edward van Geuns is resident partner of De Brauw Singapore. Edward and his team work closely together with De Brauw Amsterdam and our other offices around the world. Each matter is then handled by the very best team possible. And with our global presence, work can continue 24 hours per day.
Where specific local law advice is required, we can work closely together with renowned local counsel either from our own top-tier network or with a client’s preferred local law firm. This can be either in a subcontracting model or through any other arrangement in accordance with a client’s wishes.
