Boskalis v. Fugro: landmark case on shareholders rights

The Supreme Court has ruled in the Boskalis/Fugro case that shareholders do not have a right to table on the agenda of a public company's general meeting voting items in respect of matters that are for the board to decide upon, including the policy and strategy of the company. This may include internal organisation and defence structures, unless shareholders have specific rights in these respects.
