NDC|VBK sells book publishing company Veen Bosch & Keuning Uitgevers Groep to management

De Brauw has advised NDC|VBK de Uitgevers B.V. on the divestment of its general book publishing division Veen Bosch & Keuning Uitgevers Groep (VBK), the largest publishing group of trade books in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Buyer VBK Uitgeversgroep Beheer B.V. is an investment vehicle set up by VBK management with ING Bank holding an a minority interest in the firm and supplying a portion of the financing of the transaction.

De Brauw advised NDC|VBK on transactional aspects, financing aspects and fiduciary duties. NDC|VBK was also assisted by ING Corporate Finance.
