Siemens to acquire Mendix, an innovative Dutch company founded in 2005 in Rotterdam specializing in cloud-enabled low-code application development, for EUR 628 million. The acquisition positions Siemens as the platform of choice for large and SMB companies by connecting data and processes through cloud-enabled applications. Mendix will be part of the PLM software business of Siemens’ Digital Factory Division. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions.
