Anja is a partner in De Brauw's Corporate / M&amp;A practice. In recent years, she held several leadership roles in the firm, including as management board member, hiring partner and head of the energy industry group. 
Anja specialises in corporate law, contract law and mergers &amp; acquisitions. She has extensive experience in various industry sectors including tech, infrastructure, energy, banking and insurance. Her expertise ranges from strategic deals to private equity, hybrid corporate projects, distressed M&amp;A and structuring/restructuring, both national and international. 
In addition to her role as partner of De Brauw, Anja is a supervisory board member at Gasunie (Chair of Remco) and Het Concertgebouw. 
Corporate projects and M&amp;A deals that have been led by Anja or in which Anja was closely involved: 
Vopak on the acquisition of a 29% share in an LNG import terminal in Pakistan, and a 49% share in an LNG import terminal in Colombia, the acquisition and restructuring of Exmar’s LNG business and various other international matters.
APG on the controlled auction and divestment of Loyalis to ASR.
Waterland private equity on various acquisitions and joint ventures in the waste-to-energy sector including the acquisition and divestment of Attero.
TenneT on various Corporate and M&amp;A matters including the North Sea Wind Hub and the acquisition of the power grids from Stedin, Eneco, Nuon, Essent and Delta, subsequent to the acquisition of Transpower in Germany.
Caldic on the divestment of its worldwide business to PE funds managed by Goldman Sachs and various cross border deals including in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Spain and Malaysia.
SNS REAAL on its divestment of the insurance business REAAL to the Chinese Anbang Insurance Group.
Achmea on various corporate and M&amp;A matters including Independer, Inshared and Achmea Health Centres.
Tata on its contemplated European joint venture with Thyssenkrupp, together with the Best Friends Slaughter and May and Hengeler Mueller.
IMCD on its Initial Public Offering and in relation to various international acquisitions.
ENGIE on transferring its stake in the Paiton power station (Indonesia) to Nebras and various other energy transactions.

Yi is a partner at De Brauw’s Corporate M&amp;A practice. He is experienced in general corporate and M&amp;A matters, specialising in private M&amp;As, joint ventures, and carve-out transactions. Prior to joining De Brauw, Yi practised law at both US and Chinese law firms in China. 
Drawing on his diverse practice, Yi is highly valued for his experience in complex M&amp;As and cross-border transactions. His Chinese background adds legal and cultural depth to transactions involving Chinese companies. In addition to his legal expertise, clients also prize Yi's financial skills, which help bridge the gaps across different M&amp;A workstreams. 
Yi received his LLM degrees from New York University and National University of Singapore. Yi is admitted to practice in California (US) and holds the Chinese lawyer qualification.
