Paul has been head of De Brauw's Corporate M&A practice for many years. He has a well-established international corporate practice, representing listed companies, large multinationals and private equity firms, focusing on complex matters and strategic issues. He has handled a wide range of Dutch and cross-border public takeovers, private acquisitions and disposals, auctions and joint ventures, both in the Netherlands and elsewhere. Paul frequently advises on corporate governance aspects and shareholder activism. Paul is an experienced board room advisor and has acted as arbitrator in numerous ICC, AAA and NAI arbitrations. Paul is a trusted advisor to many of De Brauw's clients.

Paul has been nominated for ‘Best M&A lawyer of the Netherlands’ several times.
