Rutger specialises in corporate law, particularly M&A and corporate governance. As part of the corporate practice group, he regularly advises and acts in numerous public and private transactions for listed companies, strategics and private equity firms. In addition, he acts as adviser to founders as well as venture capital funds in relation to VC financing rounds. Rutger also frequently advises clients on a wide range of corporate governance-related matters.
