We are looking for a student who has a keen interest in Dutch and international tax law.
You will be employed as a student trainee on a full-time basis, for a period of two-months.
Our Tax practice is active across almost the entire spectrum of Dutch and international tax law. We serve multinational clients in M&A transactions, structuring, tax litigation and fund formation.
We are specifically looking for students who are enthusiastic, driven, and who have a verifiable affinity with Dutch tax law.
What you can expect as a student trainee
As a student trainee, you will participate fully in the daily work of Tax practice you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with and get to know our tax lawyers. You will be involved a combination of ‘know-how’ work (including literature and jurisprudence research) and the preparation of presentations and advice.
As a student trainee, you will be able to participate fully in all of our educational and social programmes: both those which are practice specific, and those arranged for the whole firm. You will also participate in our Introduction Day, and have the opportunity to meet other colleagues starting at the same time, in different roles across the firm. Ideally you will share a room with one of our lawyers, and be able to accompany them to any court hearings and client meetings.
However, to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all of our employees (and to comply with national restrictions on working practice during the pandemic), remote working or a hybrid arrangement may be necessary. We use the latest tools and applications to connect, collaborate and work together and would ask for your flexibility and tenacity to embrace whatever the current remote or hybrid working arrangements may be at the time that you start.
If you are:
- a third-year Bachelor or Master's student, with a strong academic record;
- eager and excited to learn;
- meticulous and well-organised;
- proactive; and have excellent Dutch and English language skills,
then we very much look forward to hearing from you.
