Arne was recognised for his work in acting as lead partner in the most significant M&A deals in 2016. Notably, he advised NXP on its USD 47 billion all-cash tender offer by Qualcomm – the largest transaction in the history of the semiconductor industry. On top of this, he also advised Philips both on the USD 2 billion divestment of a majority stake in Lumileds, its LED components and Automotive lighting business, to Apollo Global Management and on the separation of Philips Lighting and the IPO of Philips Lighting on Euronext Amsterdam.
